Alaa has traveled extensively throughout the world and brings to the Bears Den a wealth of culinary knowledge and experience. Alaa studied for four years at the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute and worked in some of the world’s largest hotel chains including the Intercontinental and Renaissance. Alaa relocated to Calgary in 1989 and pursued his Canadian Culinary Chef de Cuisine Certification from SAIT’s Culinary Arts program.
